Welcome to the new platform

After running events on Facebook posts, paper rosters, and Venmo for the better part of a decade, the Carolina RC Heli Club is going all-in on RCHeliEvents.com — a registration platform built specifically for what we do.

Here's what changes for pilots:

• Pre-register from your phone in the parking lot. Your AMA #, age class, signed waiver, and aircraft flags get captured once and reused forever.
• The Hangar lives on your profile. Pick which helis you're bringing in two taps. We aggregate brands across pilots so sponsors can see the room before they commit.
• Walk-up support is first-class. Showing up day-of with cash? We'll still register you. Cash, Venmo, PayPal, check — every payment method records correctly.

For sponsors:

• Positional Gold/Silver/Bronze. Top the current holder by a dollar and the spot is yours. We'll email them so they can climb back.
• Cash and product compete in the same ranking. A $5,000 product donation outranks a $1,500 cash sponsor — value is value.

For organizers:

• AMA Form 10 generates itself from real registrations. No more clipboards.
• Stripe Connect drops payments straight into your account (coming soon — Phase 3).
• Photos, sponsor list, results — everything memorializes. Your 2026 event page stays live forever, linked to 2025 and (eventually) 2027.
